The adidas micoach system is a great idea And unlike Nike+ you’re able to choose training programs and receive prompts while you train . The problem is there are frequent software and hardware issues. There are frequent issues with syncing and sensing hardware.
The latest app has far more features and is well laid out with more options for voice prompting, viewing results, etc. However the syncing and editing process is a bit cumbersome. Overall a good system and the heart rate monitor with Bluetooth is at a decent price point. The speed cell isn’t absolutely necessary unless it’s being used inside or the GPS signal isn’t adequate and admittedly I haven’t used this with the speed cell yet. 0

A clothing company introducing hardware, I should have known. Adidas does not accept returns on this product beyond the first month, after which it breaks. Changing batteries and rebooting smartphone make no difference.

I purchased my HRM in Feb 2014. I love it. I did hit a few bumps with some recent upgrades, but it looks like they are correcting those issues. The online workout plans are great. There are a variety of workouts on the micoach website. I’m happy with my purchase.
