As with the Poolmate and Poolmate Pro, the Poolmate HR is a performance sports watch with fully automatic lap and stroke counter for swimmers. Features a vibrating watch alarm allowing you to swim more freely. Set the alarm to vibrate when you reach every X number of laps, any distance (meters or yards), or time frame. Great for keeping pace if, for example, you are targeting 90 seconds per 100 meters, setting it to vibrate every 90 seconds will help you know if you are on track. Heart rate Monitor- Most heart rate monitors are 2.4GHz and don’t transmit under water- the Poolmate HR works at 122KHz which will work in water and land. The HR belt features a user replaceable CR 2032 battery. Download/Analyze – Includes USB pod which charges the watch and downloads the data to your Mac or PC. Recharge- The rechargeable battery is designed to last a few weeks at normal use on each charge.
