This stopwatch is no doubt my favorite ever. The reason I like the yellow is because I have summary stopwatches that during swim meets on not sure which ones that I particularly like to use. The Finis 3X–300 is pretty much the same as the 3X–100, but yellow.
What I like about the stopwatch is the extra split feature that it has. For all of you swim coaches out there you will be able to understand this. Most stopwatches when you split with the left button the time continues to run. That's ok, unless you are timing a 500 yard freestyle and forget where you are in the race. This is where the fourth function comes into play. The fourth function is also a split function, but when you hit the left button, it starts the time running at zero again. You can switch back-and-forth between all of the different functions during a race. I just happen like to leave it on this function because it makes me have to think about one less thing. What I did not like about this stopwatch is I've gone through a couple of them. If you drop it one too many times it pretty much will not work again. Also if you barely drop in the water, which I have done on more than one occasion and I'm sure all of you swim coaches out there of done the same, it will also not work. Since it's such an expensive watch I even took it to a watchmaker to see if he could fix it professionally so that it would work again. It would've been worth the 10 bucks or whatever it costs. He was not able to fix either of the two watches I've taken in. Besides all that, I would recommend this watch. I really like it. 0

I've gone through several of these watches over the years. They usually last between 6 months and a year. Was hoping they would last longer but the buttons always seem to wear out and just stop functioning.
